How can the principles of tantra guide and support us through the holiday season?
We'll discuss that question and more during this online practice circle. Tantrika Tasneem will lead us into an experience of subtle and expansive tantric joy. Tasneem uses breathwork, mantra chanting, meditation, visualization, chakra clearing and interpersonal connection to guide us into a felt sense of our personal divinity.
Practicing with Tasneem is an experiential journey into the heart of authentic Indian tantra. We are privileged to be able to benefit from some of the teachings and wisdom that Tasneem has gleaned from her years of tantric studies. She will guide this practice circle from her home in India.
These teachings are rooted in the tantric scriptures with an emphasis on embodiment. The intention of these practices is to acquaint you with the omnipresent experience of divinity filtered down into a human body. The more we are able to experience our own divinity, the easier it becomes to connect with our own light and truth, and to trust our "inner guru" or sense of inner knowing. Additionally, as we cultivate this personal experience of our divinity, it becomes easier to invite others into this expansiveness.
During our practice, Tasneem will invite an experience of "super sexual joy", a moment of touching into universal expansiveness. There will also be the opportunity to share with the group and to connect with others in the circle.
The more comfortable we are in our pleasure, the more we are able to expand our container for bliss.
Due to the potent "initiatory" nature of this practice, we recommend that you allow time before and after for grounding and integration. This workshop is a direct transmission from authentic tantric lineages.
One possible outcome of this practice is an improved capacity to feel healing energy running through your own body.
Tasneem's teaching draws from Kashmir Shaivism from the lineage of Laxman Jhoo and Mooktananda, as well as the Himalayan Kundalini tradition. She has also been trained through Charles Muir's Source Tantra School, and many other mentors and teachers on multiple continents.
This will be a clothes-on experience, there will be no on-screen nudity.
The practice portion of this session will be recorded, but the sharing portion of the session will not be. Please plan to attend in "real time" in order to get the benefit of practicing in community with others.
Refund policy: We will not be offering refunds for this event.
